Over the years, many of our patients have come to us because they have “tried everything” to deal with sinus problems, as well as seasonal and environmental allergies. Most people begin by treating themselves with over-the-counter medicines. Some people will find relief. For those that don’t, the usual next step is to discuss the problem with the family physician, who will prescribe decongestants, antihistamines, or other drug therapies – and that course of treatment will work for some of them.

But there are those people who still suffer. They feel pressure in their sinuses, headaches, and a chronic “stuffy head” feeling. For people with allergies, the misery can include headaches, nasal and sinus drainage, a chronic sore throat, and itchy, watery eyes.

At our Golden Road office, we have state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including the GE HiSpeed CT scanner. You don’t have to go to a hospital for testing. One of the features of Ear, Nose & Throat Associates of East Texas that sets our practice apart from others is our determination to provide the best possible care for our patients, in an atmosphere of concern and compassion, with the highest degree of efficiency available to us.

This means that we have expanded our technical services to include on-site CT scans for head and neck conditions, as well as other types of diagnostic testing. We are also able to perform some medical and surgical procedures at our Golden Road facility.
